Vermax Figurine – Jacaerys Velaryon’s Dragon | Hand-Painted Resin Statue
Step into the world of House of the Dragon with this imposing figurine of Vermax, the loyal dragon of Jacaerys Velaryon, heir to Rhaenyra Targaryen during the Dance of the Dragons. More than just a decoration, this resin statue pays homage to one of House Targaryen’s most iconic young dragons—a symbol of loyalty, courage, and the future of the Blacks in the war tearing Westeros apart.
Depicted in mid-flight, with wings spread wide and jaws slightly parted, Vermax exudes a sense of contained power and agility. Unlike gigantic dragons such as Vhagar or Vermithor, Vermax is a younger dragon, yet already formidable. His slender body, long neck, finely sculpted wing membranes, and detailed scales perfectly capture his lively temperament and legendary speed. Every detail has been carefully crafted to capture the natural elegance of this mythical creature, from the horns running along its skull to the realistic texture of its reptilian skin.
Directly inspired by House of the Dragon, this figurine will appeal to collectors as well as fantasy and dragon enthusiasts alike. Vermax plays a pivotal role in the history of the Dance of the Dragons. As Jacaerys Velaryon’s mount, he accompanied his rider on several crucial diplomatic missions before taking part in the terrible Battle of the Gullet, one of the most memorable clashes of the Targaryen civil war. This statue captures all the nobility of this dragon, destined for a tragic fate, who has become a fan favorite of the series.
The olive-green and bronze hues covering his body evoke Vermax’s illustrations and descriptions in the universe imagined by George R. R. Martin. The paintwork highlights the natural contours of the scales, the wing membranes, and the multiple rows of spines running along his back and tail. Depending on the lighting, the sculpture reveals new textures that further enhance the piece’s realism and truly bring the dragon to life.
Each figurine is 3D-printed in high-definition resin to preserve an exceptional level of detail. This process faithfully reproduces the complex textures of the scales, the folds of the wings, the sharp claws, and the expressive features of Vermax’s face. After printing, each piece is carefully sanded, assembled, hand-painted, and then protected to achieve a finish worthy of the finest collectibles.
This Vermax figurine will look right at home in a display case, a fantasy bookshelf, an office, or as part of a medieval fantasy-inspired interior design. Whether displayed alone or alongside other dragons from House of the Dragon—such as Caraxes, Syrax, Meleys, Sunfyre, Dreamfyre, or Vhagar—it immediately catches the eye thanks to its dynamic pose, which gives the impression that it has just taken flight.
Fans looking for a Vermax figurine, a House of the Dragon statue, a Jacaerys Velaryon dragon, a Targaryen dragon figurine, a resin fantasy statue, or even a high-end dragon decoration will find here a piece faithful to the world of Westeros and built to last.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Vermax also embodies the hope of House Targaryen during the Dance of the Dragons. Its connection to Jacaerys Velaryon symbolizes legacy, loyalty, and courage in the face of a conflict that would forever alter the fate of Westeros. This narrative dimension lends the sculpture genuine emotional power, far beyond its purely decorative purpose.
With its slender silhouette and wide-spread wings, this figurine commands a spectacular presence while maintaining great elegance. Under warm lighting, the shadows cast by the wings and the relief of the scales further accentuate the sculpture’s realism and evoke the most memorable aerial scenes from House of the Dragon.
Designed for discerning collectors and fantasy enthusiasts alike, this creation is a centerpiece capable of instantly transforming a bookshelf, game room, office, or display case into a true tribute to the world of George R. R. Martin.
More than just a figurine, Vermax represents one of the last embodiments of the grandeur of the Targaryen dragons before their decline. Its powerful silhouette, piercing gaze, and majestic flight serve as a reminder that, even in its youth, a dragon remains the most feared weapon in the Seven Kingdoms.
Designed for fans of dragons, House of the Dragon, and great works of fantasy, this Vermax figurine was conceived as a true showpiece. It does more than simply depict a dragon—it tells a story, evoking an era when the Targaryen fire still dominated the skies of Westeros, and allows you to bring a piece of that era into your own collection.
Would you like your own dragon figurine? I invite you to fill out the quote form (free and with no commitment).
